Accommodation

From the initial design concept, through construction, to finishing, the architects and designers had one brief, and one brief only from the owners - Ensure that the guest accommodations at The Viceroy Bali be like no other hotel, large or small, anywhere in the world.

In one sense, this was easy, as each individual villa has an intimate connection with the dramatic and awe inspiring Balinese landscape immediately in front of each villa. Next, the designers equipped each villa with all that one would expect of luxury accommodation, huge open marble bathrooms, and the highest level of furnishings, linen and service.

Of course, as you would expect of one of the finest small hotels in the world, each villa has a private swimming pool, a fully serviced bar-fridge, telephone and free high-speed internet connection, and all the other amenities to ensure a private and relaxing experience for our cherished guests.

Terrace Villas

The highlight of the Terrace Villas is the bale, a small Balinese pavilion, perched over the private outdoor swimming pool. Guests enjoy sitting in the bale looking over the spectacular Petanu river gorge whilst having an afternoon drink, reading a good book, or just enjoying a snack or a meal. Each of the terrace villas is 190 square meters. The bedroom is integrated with the living space, spacious bathroom, and terrace. Two Terrace Villas can be inter-connected to form one large 2-bedroom villa for friends or families. The romantic ambience of the Terrace Villas is felt the moment you step through the Balinese Gate.

Viceroy Bar

‘Viceroy Bar’ features the finest collection of Cognacs, Scotches, Japanese Whiskeys, Spirits and Cigars; it is one of the finest stocked bars in Bali with an exceptionally spectacular view over the Petanu river gorge. Add to the Bar a justifiably proud wine cellar which features a full range of quality and rare wines from all over the world and a creative barmen and you have perfection to please all.

CasCades Restaurant

‘CasCades’ Restaurant at Viceroy Bali is an award-winning fine dining restaurant which has a well deserved reputation as one of the finest restaurants in South East Asia, serving a contemporary French menu influenced by exotic Asian flavours. Add the exceptional backdrop of the Petanu river gorge, an extensive wine selection and beautifully refined service with a smile and you have excellence.

Lembah Spa

The ‘Lembah Spa’ offers stunning views of the Petanu river valley, which radiates a calm that complements the therapeutic body treatments offered at the day spa. All body treatments were developed by a certified Swiss therapist to combine Western knowledge with natural Balinese techniques. The ‘Lembah Spa’ places emphasis on health and meditation, together with relaxation and beauty.

Gymnasium

The Viceroy Bali gym features a full set of free weights and latest equipment for both cardio and resistance training. Guests can exercise in air conditioned comfort and stay updated with the latest world developments via a flat screen television with satellite channels. Complimentary chilled energy drinks and towels provide refreshment. The gymnasium is available exclusively to house guests. Private yoga classes can be booked.

Boutique

The Viceroy Boutique offers guests the opportunity to buy quality casual wear, jewellery, artefacts and hotel memorabilia. It also has a small library where guests can borrow books and DVDs.

Helicopter Pad

The Viceroy Bali is the only hotel in the Ubud district with a helicopter pad situated a few meters from the reception pavilion. Hotel guests wanting to avoid the 45-minute drive from Bali’s Ngurah Rai international airport to Ubud can opt for a direct helicopter transfer to the hotel. Guests can also tour Bali and the neighbouring islands by helicopter which can be arranged through the Viceroy Bali concierge.

Conference Room

The air-conditioned conference room can seat up to 25 persons for a theatre-style conference, or can be prepared as a formal board room for meetings of up to 14 persons. It is fully equipped with state-of-the art audio & visual aids including video projection, connected to a fully wired computer system, wireless & cable Internet access, and a speaker conferencing telephone. Office supplies and basic refreshments are included with bookings for its use. The conference room can also be converted into a mini theatre with projector screening for videos or movies.

Villa Viceroy is located on the slopes of the Petanu valley near the village of Nagi, with spectacular views of the river gorge and terraced paddy fields beyond. This villa is just sixty minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport.
