Your meal arrives, a banquet of lobster, huge king prawns, sweet and sour crab, crumbed calamari, and fresh snapper, flame grilled in traditional Balinese sauce.

Surrounded in candlelight and stars, a quintet of acoustic musicians begins their serenade. Traditional fishing boats dance silently on the waves, a peaceful and intimate ambience in stark contrast with the bustle of Kuta.

Restaurant

Through the co-operation of local and western managements, Sharkeys has grown to become one of Jimbaran Bay’s most popular dining establishments.

Teak furniture table settings occupy a stylish restaurant interior. An attractive open bar and cashier station created from sandstone tiling adds warm hues to the burgundy & plum interior.

The dining area is furnished with surround sound entertainment facilities and overlooks colorful, jukung fishing boats dotted along Jimbaran Bay’s coastline. A warm, comfortable ambience is created from seductive electrical lighting mingled with candlelight.

Two separate kitchens - outdoor and indoor - are used for the preparation & cooking of fresh seafood selected from insulated storage containers or aquatic tanks housing live produce.

Modern refrigeration units safeguarded by a generator, ensure all food – seafood & non-seafood - is stored in a hygienic environment at correct temperatures.

Sharkeys outdoor seating caters for approximately 120 guests. White washed furniture set with ceramic crockery and polished silverware, stands meters from the ocean under open skies. Balmy evenings are cooled by light ocean breezes or with the assistance of indoor ceiling fans.

Western toilet facilities ensure your time spent at Sharkeys is memorable for all the right reasons!

We offer a credit card payment service for Visa, Mastercard & JCB credit card holders and a complimentary return transport service from hotel to restaurant with all reservations made in advance.

At Sharkeys we are proud to offer one of the freshest selections of seafood in Jimbaran Bay. Our Balinese chefs prepare each dish to a traditional style recipe from fresh ingredients prepared daily by hand.... the only way to give you the authentic flavor of delicious Balinese cuisine.

Seafood can be grilled over flaming coconut husks or cooked in a variety of delicious sauces. We cater for both Asian and western taste buds with varying degrees of chili and spices. Please alert our staff if you have any dietary restrictions or if meals are to be prepared for children.

Bar

Sharkeys bar stocks a large variety of alcoholic beverages including local house wines and a modest selection of Australian and Chilian wines.

To accommodate the refined tastes of Bali’s international community, we allow BYO of all wines that are not found on our menu. Corkage - Rp 60,000 per bottle.

Delicious cocktails are available using local or imported ingredients in addition to extremely cold beer. For special pre-booked events such as wedding receptions or conference dinners Sharkeys can arrange a complimentary flare bar tending performance.

House Wines

• Two Islands - grapes are grown in the cooler climate of australia. the juice is then transported to bali where vintage takes place at hatten winery.
• Chardonnay - lively fresh aromas of peachy tropical fruit. medium bodied wine with a lingering crisp finish. ideal with seafood.
• Shiraz - a well balanced medium to full bodied wine with toasty plum aromas to compliment spicy & peppery flavors.
• Hatten Rose -a universal wine, perfect for food choices or an afternoon drink.
• Hatten Aga White - a crisp white wine ideal for seafood & white meats.
• Hatten Alexandria - a medium-sweet wine that leaves a refreshing aftertaste.
• Wine of the Gods - a fresh and lively chardonnay with tropical fruit and citrus aromas.

Location

Sharkeys is located on the far northen coast of Jimbaran Bay in an area famous for spectacular sunsets. The restaurant is a 10-minute drive along the bypass from Kuta and approximately 25 minutes from most Sanur, Nusa Dua and Seminyak hotels and villas.

Sharkeys is also located approx 10km from the international airport making the restaurant and ideal dining location for guests scheduled for departure on evening flights.
